This varies depending on the model. Our premium collars have a typical range of 600m. In real-world conditions, factors such as terrain and interference may impact this range length.
It depends on the intensity of the training sessions and how much use the battery gets. It will vary charge to charger however it will be more than sufficient for most daily recommended use.
The collars themselves are fully waterproof. However, immersion for long periods, such a swimming session, are not recommended. The transmitters are also waterproof.
The maximum time the collar will deliver stimuli (vibration or mild shock) is 10 seconds in one go. After 10 seconds the transmitter will time-out. We recommend no more than 3 seconds at a time, and even less for smaller dogs.
Stop using the collar for at least two days. If it persists longer than this time, always consult your vet.
The Patpet collar is not designed to be worn continuously. We recommend that the collar is only worn during training sessions - do not leave the collar on for more than four hours in a day.
